YEARBOOK REPRODUCTIONS

Yearbook Reproductions for the
years 1948-1983
are now available for sale! (Other years will be available in the coming months. Send me a note to keep you on a list if you are interested in being contacted when later years become available. ~Lyn )

These are scanned copies of actual yearbooks and are not perfect. Many of the signatures of classmates were left in the pages along with some of the comments.

1948-1983
Spiral-Bound Reproductions These are not hard-cover, but soft cover, spiral-bound with a clear plastic cover. Being sold a year at a time. The prices start at $20 for the smaller books and increase in price the larger the books become. (Note: The yearbooks are all in black and white with a color copy of the original cover. More color photographs are found in the later years - the 80s for example. If an all color book is requested when they are made available, the charge will be MUCH higher.)

Each CD includes the specified years on one CD in two types of format:
1. PDF file format. These files can be opened with the Acrobat Reader Shareware program which is also included on the disk.
2. Regular picture files (called JPG files). Each file can be opened with a software package that you may already have available on your computer.

Note: These books: 1964 - 1983, were so large that we were only able to offer 2 years on a CD.

The 1948 Wiesbaden Warrior Yearbook was done by Gene Marteney 51. This is, obviously, the cover and page 37.

Yes, it's true! Isn't it neat? It is finally happening. Slowly, but surely, a great group of folks are working diligently to reproduce our school's yearbooks. The Association has obtained permission from the school to scan the books for historical value and so that they can be reproduced for interested Alumni.

Starting in 1997, I contacted many folks who had volunteered their yearbooks to be scanned. They bravely mailed them off to me or to other people on my Skilled Scanner List. Much has been done, and a great deal still needs to be completed.

This is the 1980 Der Krieger cover and page 21 (unedited as of this date) scanned by Lyn Baskett Fort 76 I have received over 100 requests for yearbook copies at this time and am keeping a file of those who have specified they are interested. If you are one of those, you will be contacted as soon as we go into production, I promise! Thankyou to those of you who filled out the survey and mailed it in last fall! The books which will be available for sale will be posted here as soon as they are ready. We can not sell any year for 4 years prior to the present date at this time (96, 97, 98, 99) as the school wishes to make sure all back copies they have on hand are sold. As the years progress, these will be made available. Please check with the school if you are interested in copies of the years listed above.

All the reproduced books will be available on CDs and in hard-copy form, which will be spiral bound and printed. A specific price has not been set by the Association Board yet, but as soon as it is, I will post it here. We want them to be affordable, but don't want the Association Treasury to suffer either.

Below is a list of what has been done, and what is needed by the Association to complete this project and get it into production. If you feel you can help out, please contact me with your ideas. Even though some of the books are scanned and in my possession, most of them have not been converted to the PDF file format at this time. We are working on them and will be releasing them in successive years. The next group that will be available will be the 75-79 groups..
